Cooper Legion
Thanos Duology just short of R$600M. Top movie outside the Thanos duology is <R$150M? I have to imagine that ratio destroys any other country. Edited May 17, 2019 by Thanos Legion
Napoleon
People are now saying we should get used to USD at 4 BRL. It will be the floor from now on. The new government is a disaster.

I really hoped we'd go under $1 = R$3 in 2020 but doesn't sound likely now 😕 Thankfully the market in itself is very strong!
danhtruong5
AEG was estimated $79.5M after this weekend. Very impressive. Can it hit $88M at the end?

Brazil mostly exports natural resources and farm products that would sell no matter the ER because there's a strong demand in Asia. A weaker currency is mostly helping for industrial products and that's where Brazil is very weak: it's not an industrial power and it's far behind in terms of innovation, it's not competitive. If Aladdin opens with a similar box office and Endgame has a drop less than -42% I think it's possible to stay on top.

Aladdin has more potential and a bigger name recognition, I'd expect it to beat Dumbo.

Sam
Is 20M admissions a possibility? It managed 900k admits just last weekend. Though 19M seems more reasonable I guess.
