Sorry for posting it so late, but I was at a Dire Straits show 😅

TLM continues the pattern of fluctuation between stronger and weaker days.

As total, R$58.8M were made this weekend and 2.6M tickets were sold.

Fast X had the best opening of the year and the best of the franchise in box office (third in admissions), in a truly impressive performance. WoM is good and the weekend legs were very strong. It does have a very long road though if it wants to beat Furious 7's record of R$146.3M. Mario have reached R$130M and have passed the gross of the first Avengers.

Next weekend, is time for The Little Mermaid, Champions, Sword Art Online Progressive and About My Father.

That is right. TLM added a lot of shows, but it did not sold much and it actually decreased because 3 Imax shows were removed. The reason? Don't know why, it could be a bug so tomorrow don't be surprised if it increases dramatically if this is the case and shows are added back. Still the numbers does not bodes well for it's opening weekend.

First good day. It sold more tickets than first day, which tells more about how poor first day was, but it's still a very positive news. Let's hope it continues to pick up steam like today.

So, Fast X actually did 4.5M on previews?

T-1 Cinepolis: 9 showings, 950 seats, 43 sold (4.53%)

T-1 Moviecom: 5 showings, 663 seats, 29 sold (4.37%

T-1 Cineflix: 6 showings, 1356 seat, 22 sold (1.62%)

T-1 Total: 29 showings, 5537 seats, 209 sold (3.77%)

Comps:

Fast X - 17.03%

GotG 3 - 40.5%

Just for the sake of data, here is how it looks like for TLM on the last day. Still confused as to why no wednesday previews, but even so, this is weak. Even Spiderverse is right now at more than 3/4 that number. I expect walk ins to be strong, but this doesn't look encouraging.

Again... these are Thursday numbers since it's not having Wednesday previews. It's tricky to make an insight into this since it's the first Thursday release I am doing and I also don't track Thursdays for Wednesday releases, but it's probably doing over-under Fast X previews IMO, with obviously a whole lot more shows to it.

Obs: I will not do T-0 counting because it's a full day release and not previews, so shows start early afternoon and I am at work until late afternoon.
