This weekend saw a two-hit combo with an important soccer match on saturday and the second turn of the presidential election on sunday, because of this box office fell to half of last weekend with a big effect on every movie. Next weekend should be more kind to the holdovers with an extensive holiday. From the ranking, Coldplay got to the second place all from a special screening on the 28th, Super Who? bombed despite a decent marketing push, Black Adam remains the undisputable winner.

Since wednesday is a holiday, the next bunch of movies will release mostly on that day instead of the weekend, including One Piece Film Red, Lyle Lyle Crocodile, The Devil's Light and ET - 40th Anniversary.

Any expectations on Wakanda forever. BP was huge in brazil if I am not wrong.

The first one made R$134M and is the 15th best selling movie of all time. Honestly I'll be very disapointed if WF doesn't beat that number. Pre-sales are amazing, specially the 3D screenings.

10 Amsterdam 92.000 -9.8% 12.920.000 728.880

17% increase from last weekend, while not a huge increase the mid-week posted big number due to the holiday. Black Adam had an excelent third weekend while One Piece beat the opening of Dragon Ball Super Hero, really good for the first One Piece movie ever released in theaters here. Lyle Lyle on the other hand had it rough, falling really hard after the wednesday release. Ticket to Paradise came back to life for some reason. Audiences scores are: One Piece - 3.6, Prey - 2.6, Lyle - 3.5.

Fortunatelly, wekend wasn't as tough as expected for WF, it's opening wekend is the 4th best of the year, around the same from the first movie and around 400k less in admissions, with WF having the advantage of an one day early pre-release and an extended holday on monday and tuesday. The weekend itself grew 80% from last weekend but as you can see WF hit the other movies like a truck.

With no major release next weekend, we will see ET: 40th Anniversary, The Cursed, Mother Tereza: No Greater Love, Nada é Por Acaso and Bardo.
