With this number, I'll repeat what I said saturday: no reason to freak out, movies do behave like that on christmas in Brazil. As you can see, the whole ranking did bad. Almost 70% from Avatar's gross came from thursday + friday, to give another perspective from the christmas impact. Strange World reached 500k tickets sold, it is still pretty bad for a Disney animation but being the only kids movie the last month helped to leg out a little. It should not be alive anymore in two weeks though. On another subject, Terrifier 2 is doing actually sort of decent during previews today.
