For future reference, here is the highest grossing Transformers movies:

1) Age of Extinction: R$12.8M opening, R$61M total

2) The Last Knight: R$13M opening, R$1M wednesday previews, R$43M total

3) Dark Side of the Moon: R$8.2M opening, R$35M total

4) Bumblebee: R$7.59M opening, R$3.5M previews (2 days), R$25M total

5) Revenge of Fallen: R$4.07M opening, R$17.4M total

For the record, thursday is a holiday and looking at my city, that day is selling as well as the previews already. So I expect the wednesday previews to land on the soft side but this time that might not reflect realistically for the weekend numbers.

Was so tired yesterday that I fell asleep so I did not post Flash numbers yesterday, but I did counted it. Will post yesterday and today numbers in the night, but can already say that it was the best day since day 1 of sales, so it might have indeed accelerated after ATSV opening, let's see if today's numbers confirm this.

I will track this final burst of Transformers, numbers seem strong enough to be valuable to track it for some more data.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts T-1

T-1 Cinemark: 4 showings, 1080 seats, 23 sold (2.13%)

T-1 Cinepolis: 2 showings, 324 seats, 0 sold (0%)

T-1 Moviecom: 2 showings, 224 seats, 78 sold (34.82%)

T-1 Cineflix: 2 showings, 394 seat, 50 sold (12.69%)

T-1 Total: 10 showings, 2022 seats, 151 sold (7.47%)

COMPS:

GotG3: 29.26% (R$2.19M)

ATS: 45.35% (R$800k)

Fast X: 12.31% (R$620k)

Like I said before, I don't fully expect the previews to be accurate due to the extended holiday, besides it strikes me as odd the huge difference in sales from the first two chains to the last two. They also weren't generous with the amount of screenings for the previews (Unlike Flash), but I noticed a few more were added for the holiday on thursday. This movie is a wild card for me honestly. It can go both ways.

Yeah, things are indeed picking up after Spider-Verse opening. It has a full week of sales ahead, so if it keeps the current pace it should confortably gross more than ATSV, let's see what kind of late run this will have.

Oh, just so you know: Transformers has sold 103 tickets in just 24 showings. These are actually pretty decent numbers if you ask me...

Now 195 tickets in the same 24 showings.

Transformers is out in 1100 screens, 400 on yesterday previews. That is a smaller roll out than the other recent blockbusters, the chains probably doesn't want to let go of TLM, Spiderverse and Fast X yet.

I will post it if it is revealed but I wouldn't expect the preview numbers today. For the weekend I expect Spiderverse to see either a small drop or a increase over the opening.

Spider-verse final days were not strong, so it has a chance to increase on that comp, but it's probably decreasing against GOTG3 until T-0 when walkups come into play. At this point it's going to finish close to ATSV either way IMO.

10 About Joan 76.000 --- 79.000 --- 3.380

The holiday led to an increase of 16% in this weekend's box office and as I predicted an increase of Spiderverse over the opening, but TLM also increased, both are pretty much tied and TLM can still take the no. 1 this weekend when actuals come. Spiderverse already passed the total of the first movie, audience score are an amazing 4.5, and Fast X is on the way os passing Mario for the no.1 spot of the year.

Rise of Beasts had the 3rd best opening of the franchise, now we will watch the legs, reminder that Bumblebee did NOT hold well.

Next weekend is time for The Flash.

Not Spiderverse comp being the most affected despite being the one with worst final days. This isn't looking good anywhere

I hope WoM is really good, because right now I am having a mental breakdown on this opening bellow what Black Adam did in Brazil.
