Apparently Despicable Me 3 passed Minions in local currency with R$24.5-25m compared to R$23m for Minions. That would make it the best OW for an animated movie!!

OFFICIAL NUMBER : R$25.5m

NEW RECORD FOR AN ANIMATED MOVIE!!

do you have admissions numbers for Brazil or just numbers?

Depends, if you talk about this weekend numbers we'll get them tomorrow. Do you want some specific numbers?

@Fullbuster

what you expect for  Spidey?

The usual Spider-Man movie would be easy to predict but this one is more delicate given it's now in the MCU and there is Iron Man in it.

I can imagine it passing R$100m and Wonder Woman.

Some predictions about some upcoming movies in lc :

-Cars 3 should beat Cars 2, probably not by much but a reasonable growth

-Valerian : probably a flop, it's sci-fi and not called Star Wars and not part of the MCU.

-Transformers 5 : Close to TF4, a bit lower or a bit higher.

-Apes 3 : a bit more than the previous one

Spider-Man 2 sold 7.7mio admissions.

Spider-Man 3-6.1mio

Amazing Spider-Man-5.1mio

Amazing Spider-Man 2-4.1mio

Wow thats on average 19% decline per movie in admissions. Just goes to show how popular SM2 was and how bad SM3 and TASm series were in terms of reception. Lets see if SMH can buck the trend and increase rather than decrease.

What do the people who are familiar with Brazil's box office think SMH can do in terms of admission? Will it increase from the TASm series?

I see it higher than TASM in admissions and local currency.
