Mexico Box Office | The Lion King roars to 4th highest OW ever, $17.8M. Toy Story 4 chasing Endgame's audience trophy.

Recommended Posts

If Parabellum follows Glass (devoted fan-base, adult skewed) then it would gross $53M on FSS frame and $56M including previews, which is astonishing for a C rated film; only under Logan and two Fifty Shadows titles. My only concern are screens but if demand keeps then it'll start to steal screens from Llorona, Frida and Brightburn.

Weekend is going to be a triple threat match for #1 between Endgame, Pikachu and John Wick 3.

Endgame reached $72M, 1,367M lc and 22.6M audience.

La Llorona crossed 200M lc.

It'll be this close 👌 to pass Coco's first run in admissions on Monday morning, less than 1M admissions.

I'd love to see Wick 3 winning the weekend! What's your forecast for Engame's FFS? Could it make 40M lc? Weekdays were 38.5M lc.

Even if doesn't win the weekend is already a huge surprise to see it breaking out way over past two installments but it'll be the cherry on the top of the cake if targets that #1.

Expecting $44M-$47M from Endgame but it still has more screens than both Pikachu and Baba Yaga so could make it higher.

Reports estimate a $73.9M total for Endgame, crossing 1.4B lc.

$2.1M OW for Wick 3, bit below expectations.

Can it hit $77M-78M at the end?

Not with Aladdin, Godzilla and X-Men in the upcoming weeks.

So at the end Endgame repeat #1 but anyway we should be careful because Disney has always overestimated weekends for the movie.

JW3 already outgrossed both predecessors but I do believe screens limited it.

It has enough gas in the tank for $75.5M. Anything over that is a win!

Pikachu total up to $8.8M. Weekend figures very close to Wick.

Oh, last weekend, Disney underestimated the OS $3.9M...... so it made me worried.

Didn't remember Dumbo opened nearly $150M, so I guess that's the floor for Aladdin next weekend. PS have showed a really good increase over the last days, thinking $160M-$170M. ($8.3M-$8.9M). Could challenge DP2 as May's biggest opening ever.

All three are very close to each other. It's going to be a photo finish but as of Saturday Pika Pika is winning the weekend.

The furry sleuth won the weekend, just 2M lc higher than Endgame which was under-reported. Wick 3 opened at, well, #3. Frida 2 still in the Top 10!

Absolutely fantastic for EG. Considering how big Coco was throughout Mexico for EG to beat it in admissions, is a massive feat!!:ohmygod:
