The Lion King has a slim shot at 20M+ admissions!

$42M until yesterday. Looking at $55M+ total.

Yes. Admissions goes for TS4 but lc and USD stay with EG.

Do you think it will reach 1B lc?

Yes. It's running above both I2 and Dumbo at the same point of release. I don't know about ceiling tho, it competes with H&S this weekend and SLOP2 next weekend.

I wouldn't be concerned with SLOP2 after seeing how's been performing everywhere but Mexico has already performed opposite for Dumbo and Grinch so Pets could go anywhere.

To round up the idea about SH movies in Argentina, while Endgame is the most attended movie ever in many countries or the 2nd. In Argentina is the 6th, and Infinity War is barely in the top 20 most attended movies. Both being the most attended movies in the genre.

I know this is not argentina's thread but i kind of hope that Titanic still remains number 1 in term of admission there, if ever.

Top Movies (lc)

04 1,132,000,000    Coco (2017)
05    827,122,714    The Avengers (2012)

06    801,800,000    The Lion King (2019)
07    784,083,100    Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
08    779,293,817    Furious 7 (2015)

I can still remember how Coco turning Mexican cinema upside down after its record-breaking opening and amazing 2nd weekend's hold but now looked like it is not as shattering as it was

ALL HAIL THE NEW AUDIENCE KING!

01    24,900,000    Toy Story 4 (2019)

02    24,800,000    Avengers: Endgame (2019)

03    24,140,000    Coco (2017)

That's seriously impressive. Hope TLK gets 20M too. But seeing TS4 being above TLK in Mexico is kinda funny. Considering I expected it to be the other way around, though I never would have thought any movie would top Coco or Endgame.

Don't feel bad Endgame is #17 for this decade in Germany and Infinity War (counting in the double features with endgame) is at #48 without them its at #51, AoU is at #82 and Avengers at #91. Overall (since 1963) Endgame is at #132 and IW #322.

I think you misplaced Infinity War somewhere.  It's at least above AOU, no?

$7M OW for H&S. Lower than I thought.

This is like reverse Meg; it completely deflated after Opening Day. Not sure about it making it into Top 10 of the year.

TLK at $45.6M (5th highest in lc)

Still looking at $1B+ but ceiling is getting lower and lower.
