From true Friday (minus previews)? Definitely a chance, but it's a tough ask with the holiday. I'd cautiously expect a small decline depending how big Friday ends up being.

Yes from true Friday.
If the Friday isn’t very big (58m+?) hopefully it increases.

Very possible but I wouldn't expect a big increase. Marginal at best. As much as Friday could take away from Thu, it could also subtract from Sat.

At $58M, I'd feel safer expecting a Sat drop.

Demo for Thursday night previews...https://deadline.com/2022/11/box-office-black-panther-wakanda-forever-1235169891/

We'll see how much this changes after today...

"Thursday night’s audience pulled in 42% Black, 22% Hispanic and Latino, 20% Caucasian and 10% Asian. Thirty-four percent were men over 25 (90% grade), 26% were women over 25 (95% grade), 25% were men under 25 (87%), and 15% women under 25 (98% grade). Among kids under 12, 61% were boys, 39% were girls."

I don’t really feel like I can express the sea is sadness I am swimming in between Wakanda Forever FEELS, Kevin Conroy’s passing, and my real life drama of not getting/getting a puppy. (The breeder keeps moving my date back on me. It’s know going to be like Spring).

20% Caucasian.

That has to be a record low for a blockbuster movie in NA.

I’m having a hard time believing Friday can go over $56M. I know it’s a minor holiday but even the first movie didn’t double previews for true Friday and we all know things are more frontloaded now.

You're right, but there's a chance this is a special case where people actually waited for Friday / Remembrance Day because (and I know I'm beating a dead horse here, bear with me) I think the preview number left a lot on the table.

That being said, I'm not expecting over $56M. Hell I'm not expecting $56M at all.

RIP Kevin Conroy

this is crazy i only just got a PS4 this year (my bro gave it to me after he got a PS5) and i've been catching up on the games and I just finished my first playthrough of Arkham Knight two days ago! I kept thinking while playing it about how his voice was still cool as hell even as he was getting up there. RIP.

What’s even more impressive was that he was set to retire after I think Killing Joke, but then returned because he was just that good. I believe he just voiced him in that MultiVersus game
