Is there any comparison of 3D-Shares worldwide?

I read that UK and US are only about 60-65% in 3D. Is there some kind of pattern there with the movie underperforming in markets where 3D was killed completely by studio greed and ten years of pointless and sloppy 3D-converted mess?

I watch Spirited today as part of my ongoing Christmas movie marathon (of course the family and I are going to watch that cheesy Disney Parks special like we always do tomorrow morning before seeing Puss in Boots lol). It's actually quite pleasant and entertaining.

To be fair, with the combination of this snow storm + Christmas Eve on Saturday, Theaters would have struggled in any year.

 

Real story will be numbers on the 25th onwards. If they also crumble, ill join your doomposting.

I would argue Avatar 2 and TESB also share a lot of thematic similarities 

 

Both expands their myths and worldbuilding, still both are way more intimate and focused more on familiar dynamics.
