Yeah I saw that too, thought it was quite a stretch to include that.

Blame Numbers.

*double checks*

Pardon.  Blame The Numbers:

Quote

Jumanji^ ^ ^ ^ The Numbers includes Zathura: A Space Adventure in the Jumanji franchise,[8] whereas Box Office Mojo does not.[9]

Is there any comparison of 3D-Shares worldwide?

I read that UK and US are only about 60-65% in 3D. Is there some kind of pattern there with the movie underperforming in markets where 3D was killed completely by studio greed and ten years of pointless and sloppy 3D-converted mess?

I'll probably watch Spirited against my better "judgement" tonight. If Violent Night was on Peacock I would've done that.

I watch Spirited today as part of my ongoing Christmas movie marathon (of course the family and I are going to watch that cheesy Disney Parks special like we always do tomorrow morning before seeing Puss in Boots lol). It's actually quite pleasant and entertaining.

This weekend hurts. Theaters are truly struggling.

To be fair, with the combination of this snow storm + Christmas Eve on Saturday, Theaters would have struggled in any year.

Real story will be numbers on the 25th onwards. If they also crumble, ill join your doomposting.

Along with Glass Onion, Strange World, Matilda, and Violent Night giving the people some indoor stuff to keep them occupied, did anyone know that there’s also a whole bloody Witcher Spin-Off debuting tomorrow?

I am aware but reviews are mega trash so I don't plan on watching it.

If TWOW ends up grossing $510M domestic it will suffer the same drop TESB suffered from the original SW back in ‘82, without counting the re-releases.

Nice parallel, especially since they are both

improvements of a groundbreaking original IP.

I would argue Avatar 2 and TESB also share a lot of thematic similarities

Both expands their myths and worldbuilding, still both are way more intimate and focused more on familiar dynamics.

Wolf Warrior 2 going for $870M only two years after Wolf Warrior made $81M is pretty nuts.

??? Who made wolf warrior xx4?😱

Wow the dude that directs this monster hit is actually the main star as well.

Enjoying music from your parents' generation, your own generation and your kids' generation is the true Infinity gauntlet.
