To PM or not to PM this year...of the theatrical movies I've seen (the 14) plus the 2022 theatrical movies I've seen on streaming (another 10 or so thus far), I'd be hard pressed to go past 5 movies deserving of the ranking, but I guess there's still time...

 

No A movies this year, but some A- ones...

 

1. Top Gun Maverick

2. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

3. The Batman (if only they could have tightened this up and shortened "the Cat" subplot, especially at the end - I loved this take of Batman, but it has too many flaws to be #1)...

4. Glass Onion

5. maybe Minions the Rise of Gru...maybe The Bad Guys...maybe I need to watch another movie on streaming since the Banshees of Inisherin arrived, as did the Woman King, and a few others.  

 

Well, if I submit, I would add variety with this list:)...decisions, decisions...

Planning on watching Puss in Boots tomorrow or Monday. Just finished All Quiet on the Western Front and was kinda blown away by it. Forget 1917 this is a real god damn movie.
