That was just deadline being deadline, 45M would've meant basically flat from 3 (if not down given 3 had more delayed releases) international which would have made no sense at all.

Of course it's an excuse. Deadline made it sound like its a big crime to release a movie in Russia right now. And what would you expect from them? They can't say enough of this nonsense and hypocrisy.  Distribution company was created in September, release was announced merely a month ago.
