deadline says 115 million ww

70 dom 45 int

seems a bit low doesn't it?

think you can add 15 to int and 5 to dom to get a more sensible 135

150 too much to ask?

Hollywood is back to Russia?

Lionsgate sold the rights. Apparently the offer was too good to refuse, Only five major studios boycott the country. A lot of independent movies were realeased. People just didnt care about most of them. John Wick 4 is the first major Hollywood movie in 13 months and that helps a lot.

In Singapore, there are 3 big cinema chains (Gv, Shaw, Cathay) the local distributor is the largest (GV) - but seems to have fell out with the 2nd largest (Shaw), and now Shaw has decided to limit its showtimes / location in its cineplexes...

Gosh.

No, I think Lionsgate most likely sold the rights before the war, the movie was delayed by a year if I'm not mistaken, so it's more of one time event.

Wick is a special case;it was sold to a Russian Distriubtor before the war began.

You won't see a return to Russian theaters any time soon; I actually think PUtin does not want Hollywood back bigtime, given his efforts to block access to wester media in general. It's back to the Soviet Union.

No. John Wick will be released by a new distributor. They only started to work in last November, And the release was announced only a month ago.

Similar to Singapore - Taiwan distributor had a dispute with Cinema chain. It is not shown in 1/3 of the theaters across Taiwan.

But OD still higher (slightly) than JW3.

Asia will definitely do better cause of Donnie Yen; Singapore and Malaysia selling very well OD today.
