With Vietnam opening next month ~ not sure how it goes there

 

Region wise Suzume is strong in South East Asia which is opposite in compare to East Asia in comp to SLAM DUNK

 

Nothing is planned outside Asia as far as I know so $250M-$300M depending on China is where it gonna fall in World wide numbers

Italy has a date, it'll play may 10 for the sub and may 11-17 for the dub. Probably won't do much here but just letting you know. I might go see it if it plays near me but wednesday isn't a good day for me so we'll see what happens.

 Great! Atleast that's better than Germany "One Night Event". Seeing South East Asia response I don't know how Europe, America &Middle East gonna response. I am actually not able to see the build up for this film. Gross is pretty much East Asia Centric not spread out like Suzume.

 

I just want to see $300M this year after RED was affected by currency rates with pandemic China.

I really hope The First Slam Dunk comes to America even if it’s only for a few days. I understand that the Manga/Anime is not popular there but maybe the huge box office results of the movie in Japan and other Asian countries might convince Crunchyroll to give it a shot at least.
