FLOWERVALE STREET | 05.16.2025 | Warner Bros. | Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor to star

Recommended Posts

Seems every studio in Hollywood wants a Dinosaur based movie....

I am fully expecting a "Valley of the Gwangi" remake announced soon.

Very pleased that David is finally out of directors jail

And he’s smart that this time he already locked up It Follows 2 so in case this flops, the next one is already a done deal and he won’t wait another 7 years to make a movie

Still i hope this is great and succeeds, at 85M budget it only needs 300M or so be considered a big hit

Think this is a clear example of creative reputation being valued over bankability. Evidently someone high up at Warner is a big it follows and/or silver lake fan.

I like the two leads here, but they’re not draws. I’m already sold on the film though.

But I don’t see why this would do better than 65 when the director’s first two films weren't mainstream.

Anne Hathaway is definitely a draw in the right role

Her last box office hit was 6 years ago and that was a huge ensemble.

(I love Hathaway, but she’s been picking small and or unappealing projects for years now).

This could very well be a flop but I'll still hate anyone who takes schadenfreude out of it or bitches about the budget being too high. These are the kinds of risks people claim they want from Hollywood so much

Feel like the same trolls that threw a party when furiosa bombed (and do the same anytime anything even slightly artistic under performs) will still go to town on it. I’m happy Dune 2 didn’t under perform just because we’d never hear the end of it hahaha

Hoping this is a hit cause it's been a minute since Hathaway headlined a really high-profile project like this. If this and the Freaky Freaky sequel next year does well I imagine those will be what officially gets the ball rolling on the Princess Diaries rebootquel she's been bringing up as being in development every now and then for a while.

I think the draw of this movie is whatever they are trying to hide from us.

The Marketing for this film is going to have to really convince people this is not just a Jurassic Park/World imitation.

WB playing 3D chess and burning off some of the Dino appetite before JURASSIC WORLD opens 1 week before SUPERMAN
