Deadline:

Anne Hathaway (Eileen) has signed on to star in a mysterious new film that David Robert Mitchell (It Follows, Under the Silver Lake) will direct for Warner Bros. Pictures, Bad Robot and Jackson Pictures.

While the pic is billed as a “thrill-ride” to be shot in IMAX, which will head into production this fall, other details are scarce at present.

Logline details are being kept in the cage, but sources say it is described as being a family adventure set in the 1980s that involves dinosaurs. Hathaway and McGregor play the parents. The kids roles are yet to be cast.

Ngl, Im really happy that were getting a new film directed by him but it's pretty funny that the only film that JJ Abrams produced film for WB deal that is actually in active development is Robert Mitchell's followup to Under the Silver Lake (the kinda film that would put most directors in director jail).

The plot sounds so B movie that I almost think it must be VERY good script, bc otherwise it isn't getting made

Sounds really cool. Love the Hathaway resurgence we're having; thought she was insanely fun in Eileen just last year

Feels like she's finally been able to loosen up after all that uncompletely unwarranted hate she was getting in the 2010s.
