Why did you expect anything else in India considering how we treat animated movies.

It is biggest animated opener, that's good enough for it, i expected nothing more.

Spiderverse ratings lower in Indian online ticket portal then Fast X

I guess @across the Jat verse is correct in being disappointed by India performance.

He was expecting a big breakout in India and here it is being rated lower then Fast X

So what final total are we looking at OS.

Can it manage a 50-50 ratio?

I doubt it's going to get to the even mark, but it will probably close the gap. I am thinking something like 52/48.

Indonesia

Meanwhile Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse face a very difficult struggle to break out of its core fanbase that fueled the promising first two days.
As of now, by our reckoning it stands at $2.4M and may struggle to beat its predecessor's $2.7M final gross.

It had a promising first two days, then day 3 was flat, after that day 4-5 actually went down. This despite opening on 4-day super long weekend corridor (Thu-Fri being national holidays).

It picked up some pace again this weekend albeit with much reduced showtimes. When The Flash opens on Wed it will be basically gone.

P.S. I witnessed some walkouts, some of it was just too much for casual audience.
