4815162342
But really, Simmons is so boned. He's gonna have Reese & co., the NYPD, and probably Elias's crew gunning for him.

4815162342
They shot SImmons. He's likely dead. Nah it looked like he got clipped in the shoulder by Carter and then he ran off.
Community Manager Water Bottle Posted November 20, 2013 Community Manager Share Posted November 20, 2013 Nah it looked like he got clipped in the shoulder by Carter and then he ran off. Ah. Makes sense. Yeah, I doubt he's going to stay alive for long.

4815162342
From an EW Online interview: So you two and Taraji knew that Carter would eventually die, but did you know that it would be this season, this episode, this moment? NOLAN: We felt from the beginning that this is where we’d want to go with Carter by the third season. Real characters have real journeys, and that means that requires an end. So we came into this season knowing that the middle of the season is a place where the audience tends to fall asleep a little bit, but there’s a tremendous opportunity there. Frankly no one’s expecting this in the middle of the season. We’ve consistently had these midseason moments where we put our characters in jeopardy, but if we did another one of those and it wasn’t the real thing, you get to a point where the audience is starting to get turned down on us. What’s coming up next week? PLAGEMAN: Episode 10 is called “The Devil’s Share” and it deals very explicitly with the fallout from this episode, in which Robert John Burke’s character Simmons has killed Carter and his number comes up. Finch is confronted for the first time with a conundrum: someone’s going to die and it’s probably going to be at the hand of one of his allies, but he doesn’t know which one. http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/11/20/person-interest-jonathan-nolan-greg-plageman-carter-death/ Oh yeah, Simmons is totally screwed.
mulder42
I'm sad, and I haven't even seen the episode yet! Can someone explain to me how Reese's number popped out of the Machine? Isn't he persona non grata--it's like he doesn't exist anymore anywhere, right? Show them no mercy, Reese--get those bastards!!! DeeCee
The episode explains it. I thought that was quiet clever.
DeeCee
That was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting a new episode until next year. "If they don't want you to get inside, they ought to build it better."

Hangman
I didn't know there was a new episode this week. Looks like neither did anyone else. It hit a series low in the ratings.
tawasal
Looks like neither did anyone else. It hit a series low in the ratings. Yeah, what the hell is going on. Why would they air an episode they haven't posted a release date for? That is pure suicide.
Community Manager Water Bottle Posted December 19, 2013 Community Manager Share Posted December 19, 2013 Yeah, what the hell is going on. Why would they air an episode they haven't posted a release date for? That is pure suicide. It's a test. CBS was trying to see how how interested people who watch Person of Interest are in the show. We failed.

DeeCee
Person of Interest was back with another great episode. Did anyone watch Intelligence? Finch's machine has been put inside Sawyer's head.
