Box Office Hit Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 (edited) Quote Known for the Spider-Man movies, Jacob Batalon has been set to lead the cast of a new Screen Gems horror movie titled Horrorscope, Deadline has reported this afternoon. Alana Boden (The Invitation), Adain Bradley (Wrong Turn: The Foundation) and Avantika (Senior Year) will star alongside Batalon. Additionally, the cast for Horrorscope includes Humberly González (Nobody) and Wolfgang Novogratz (Assassination Nation). Anna Halberg and Spenser Cohen (Moonfall) wrote the script and will direct the movie. “The story follows a group of college friends who after getting their horoscopes read, begin dying in ways connected to their fortunes. Are their fates fatal or can they change what’s written in the stars?” From Screen Gems and Alloy Entertainment, the film is based on a novel by Nicholas Adams. https://bloody-disgusting.com/movie/3721070/horrorscope-screen-gems-horror-movie-will-star-jacob-batalon/ Edited December 6, 2023 by Box Office Hit Quote
filmlover Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 First trailer released, retitled to Tarot. Quote
NoobSaibot Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 The premise probably would have had me interested, but the fact that this is a Screen Gems production doesn't instill confidence. Their track record isn't the best. Quote
Krissykins Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Yeh it looks generic as all hell. But im there. Hope its R, but doubt it. Quote

Krissykins Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 So I’m guessing this moved away from The Strangers? But now it comes out the same day as Cuckoo and I Saw The TV Glow. Quote
Hiccup23 Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 I think this will be Omen numbers. Shocking that Night Swim is still the highest opening and grossing horror movie of 2024. Quote
JimmyB Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 This movie looks awful, lol. 6m opening weekend Quote

Krissykins Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 I wonder if it can open higher than Abigail and The First Omen because it’s the first PG13 horror film in 2 months. Quote
Boxofficerules Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Feels like the buzz on this is non existent? I've seen no one talking about it. Quote

You were right about the lack of buzz on First Omen and Abigail. Could be a hat-trick for you. I wouldn’t be surprised if this still grossed more than both of those in America though. At least with First Omen and Abigail I saw commercials on ESPN during the NBA games. Ive seen nothing for Tarot if I wasnt a movie nerd I wouldnt even know it was coming out. Quote
