CJohn
Those budgets for Snow White and Prometheus are too low. Not possible. Won't risk it.
JJ-8
The information I have (according to the directors for both films) is as follows:- Snow White and the huntsman is a 70m budgeted film. (I suspect between 70m and 100m but this is within reason) The 175m is a little out there for this film i'm thinking given it's the directors directional debut for a feature film.Prometheus - i've taken an educated guess..... based upon the following (I was originally putting down 150m+) But that upon further information and background ~ according to scott himself (I'll search out the link later).... He wanted 250m for this - but i think this was a 2 film deal at the time when asked - it was to a split film i think - back when he had it more related to aliens. As i understand the studio balked at even 150m and the final budget is below this figure. i suspect 120m to 130m (I may yet push it up to 130m before it becomes available, unless we get concrete evidence to it's real budget)
acsc1312
As long a we keep these 200m + budgets out of here I'd be willing to do 100 for both of those.
XenoZodiac
I am at a severe disadvantage this year starting after TDI, The Vow, Safe House, Lorax and THG.
JJ-8
yes but remember those that have seemingly bolted so far will run into issues when they hit 1500% invested - that pesky little rule kicks in and I think there are 2 players > 1000% already. This years game is very much a three phase game...Phase 1 = THG + Lorax + The Avengers (yeah i'm including it in phase 1)Was more of a surprise with THG breaking out. you'll find the current leaders are heavily invested so far and really depend on these films being bigger than phase 3Phase 2 = The Dark Knight Rises + Spiderman (to a lesser extent) + other june / july filmsPhase 2 is kinda in the middle but could well produce the #1 film of the year. (though i must say Phase 1 has put it's hand up already ... thanx to THG (let alone the avengers)Phase 3 = BD2 + the hobbit BD2 is easy to pick 250m - 300m is the range + a little for finale factorthe hobbit on face value looks easy but not so simple... but it's actually the wild card here... lots of other films that will fill the gaps but i would expect whoever wins this game will win at least 2 of these phases. the big problem is those that have alaready spent their % by november could miss out on phase 3 all together. hence why this game can be very strategic.... XenoZodiac
Hmm, BD2 is easy to pick 250m - 300m is the range - (not +) a little for finale factor. Its the most hated part in the entire series.

townzy89
The following lists the 4 levels (5 including the unrestricted level) and the unmodified % level.Unrestricted (< 1400%)Level 1 Restrictions (> 1500%) - Cannot invest in any film until 3 weeks prior to release.Level 2 Restrictions (> 2000%) - Cannot invest in any film until 2 weeks prior to release.Level 3 Restrictions (> 2500%) - Cannot invest in any film until 1 week prior to release.Level 4 Restrictions (> 3000%) - Cannot invest in any film until 1 day prior to release.Purchase Restrictions (> 2000%) - Cannot purchase more than 1 film per week (whatever % or $)So basically you miss out on all the blockbusters that go first up. it use to be a rule that you could invest if already invested in even prior to the 3 weeks is that still in effect Jajang? The Dark Alfred
Yea. I'm sitting nice and quiet in the mid-table for now, knowing that I have 70% of TDKR already. My game starts in July
