Purple Minion Posted September 22 Posted September 22 @kayumanggi thanks for this thread but try not to open them months in advance, it's hard to track them when the movie is finally released Quote

cannastop Posted October 15 Posted October 15 I know the release isn't until February but don't expect The Wild Robot to do big business in Japan. 1 billion Yen would be a great goal for it. That's $6.5 million. Quote

Purple Minion Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Deadline: The Wild Robot is capitalizing on staggered UK school holidays which delivered strong midweeks. France saw uplift in school holidays heading into weekend three, with Wed-Fri more than 3x the same days the previous week, and the weekend 33% up overall. Mexico dropped just 18% in the fifth weekend, at No.2 in the market. Spain also had a terrific hold (-23%) at No.2. The Top 5 markets to date are: Mexico ($16M), Australia ($10.3M), UK ($8.4M), France ($8.2M) and China ($7.2M). 1 Quote
Noctis Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Phenomenal drops. I still believe this would have been a massive grosser during the Christmas holidays. But I'm glad to see that it's basically going to have an easy slate worldwide until the release of Moana (and maybe Wicked). $300m is definitely happening. I can see this finishing near $330m. Quote
titanic2187 Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Quote Also heading towards a milestone, Universal/DreamWorks Animation’s The Wild Robot added $9M from 80 markets this session (-49%), lifting the international cume to $161.6M and global to $292.5M. The film has now surpassed Encanto overseas. The Top 5 offshore markets to date are Mexico ($19.1M), UK ($16.5M), France ($11.7M), Australia ($10.9M) and Spain ($9.3M); the latter seeing double-digit uplift in admissions every day from Monday-Thursday during the local Fiesta del Cine promotion, and despite ongoing strife in the Valencia region following catastrophic weather. This weekend's hold isn't good, probably due to the end of some holiday in the European. Quote
