filmlover
- (-) Spider-Man: Homecoming $285,000 466 $612 $334,486,140 2,510 About half of the TASM duo, but hardly surprising given how new (and ongoing) the Holland titles still are.

I thought Garfield would do a lot of damage to IF this coming weekend but according to the tracking thread it’s not looking great, but at the same time IF already isn’t off to a great start. So maybe they’ll both sink this weekend.

Garfield should have really been released in April if only to have more time as the only animated film for a while. Unfitclock
Yesterday was a Canadian holiday I looked back and every single kids or family movie dropped less than 70 percent on Monday this is not good by the way this comes after a crappy Sunday hold unless there’s a big Tuesday increase it’s not looking good
babz06
Better to wait for the weekend before writing Garfield off.
The Wild Eric
Kids are still in school. This seems like a standard drop for IF if you ask me.

crazymoviekid
IF dropped 74% on the Sunday to Monday. If we compare other family titles that also released on Victoria Day Weekend... 2019: A Dog's Journey - 70% 2018: Show Dogs - 75% 2017: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: the Reboot - 74% 2016: Angry Birds - 76% 2010: Shrek 4 - 73% Looks like IF is right in line. redfirebird2008
Just noticed Box Office Mojo is way off for Dune Part 2. It's showing the domestic and overseas grosses to be identical at $429.7M domestic and $429.7M overseas. Actual domestic gross is less than $285M. The crappy thing is Wikipedia seems to rely on Box Office Mojo, but that probably should not be the case at this point. BOM used to be very accurate, but it has gone downhill the last 10 years. This happens frequently where the totals are fudged with international over the top of the actual domestic total. They usually sort it out though.
