Bond 24 Director Wishlist

Tom Hooper

Ang Lee

Bennett Miller

Alan Taylor

Phil Lord and Chris Miller

Ang Lee would be really interesting. He would be the first non-European director for the series and, more specifically, the second non-British Commonwealth citizen. The first was Marc Forester.

Danny Boyle is the easiest guess and he's a good choice for sure although i wasn't as impressed with his last 2 films (Slumdog, 27 Hours) as most people. I think his style these days is a bit more trippy than what the subjects he does need. I'm not sure if this style will work for Bond. But i 'll surely welcome his addition. He made Trainspotting and 28 Days Later after all. Plus Trance looks great.

Joe Wright and probably Wyatt are some really good choices also.

Ang Lee is a longshot but it would easily be my first choice.

Joe Wright = Bond Girl Knightmare :o  She`s to him what HBC is to Burton.

Tarantino wanted to do a Bond film-not sure if he would quite fit the style of Bond though.

Tarantino wanted to do Casino Royale as a period piece with Brosnan. He tried to get the rights himself (EON didn't have them at the time), and when EON did get them he talked to them about it. They had their own ideas and weren't desperate enough to hand everything over to Tarantino. I don't see any reason to think they'd be more amenable to him now, especially since he's publicly badmouthed Skyfall.
