Compared to domestic, international performance is where i have disappointment with, I thought Evan and Rock combo would have more international appeal.

It's far from doing blockbuster numbers in Germany (nobody expected that) but it had a very nice hold this weekend. It stayed almost flat (-4%) compared to last weekend and should be close to 280k admissions by tomorrow ~ 3.075M US$.

I don’t understand the mentality of certain BO pundits thinking it’ll make 300M WW based on its international performance.

By the way, the hold in Germany is probably again pretty good according to normally very well informed forum members of insidekino.de. 

And also the owner of insidekino sees only a decrease of 10% this coming weekend.

Would be #2 in a row for three weeks now.

Why does this stuff connect so much with the German audience? ;).

Is this way better WW than expected?  It's going to be almost at 40m domestic tomorrow after 7 days and 60m International after 14 days.   100m WW is a pretty terrible number.

Look at the first comment. 30M at a max. Probably the first weekend was meant (or the total similar to Violent Night?).

But anyway, Red One finds its audience and Christmas is still coming.

First of all, I was wrong, sorry. The actual weekend is its third weekend, not its fourth.

The schedule in Germany this month is a bit confusing, e.g. Wicked starts in December here. 

 

But more important, Red One is very probably still among the top 3 in Germany this weekend. Gladiator II wins with a good hold, then comes Niko 3 (the adventures of a small reindeer) and then Red One with close to 100k admissions and again a pretty good hold. It will have ca. 390k, let's say 400k, total admissions here including Sunday (source: insidekino.de).

(Conclave is the best newcomer with close to 90k admissions including previews.)
