riczhang
906 STUDIOS The Kane Chronicles series – The Red Pyramid –July 2, Year 5 The Throne of Fire – November of Year 6 The Serpent’s Shadow – Summer of Year 7 Slenderman – September 3, Year 5 The SCP Foundation – Year 6 You can't have the Kane chronicles like that, there's no way that a movie could be produced 3 years in a row, and especially between the 2 and 3 where there's a gap of only 8 months. Generally, the only way a series can have 2 releases in two years, if if the 1st movie is released March Break, and the 2nd thanksgiving of the next year. Otherwise there really isn't enough time for this.
Blankments
Unless you're going LotR-style on it.... although I doubt that.
riczhang
Unless you're going LotR-style on it.... although I doubt that.Egh.... but that involves shooting three movies back to back, which I don't recommend, and am still shocked LOTR went for, shooting three expensive movies back to back, off of no proven box office gold. Sure for Potter, and Twlight, who've struck gold it's fine for later movies, but not for something that's unproven, it just doesn't happen. Blankments
Technically, I lost $180M on the last two Avatar movies that I didn't release.
riczhang
Technically, I lost $180M on the last two Avatar movies that I didn't release. Shh.... but no one keeps track of annual profits except for me. I've decided to establish a second other studio for my fillers, so that it won't drag down my balance sheet. Impact
How would you guys feel about a live action Lion King based off of the stage show?
Blankments
Coming from the guy who did a live-action Hunchback... I honestly don't see how it would work. Lion King is a classic animated movie and a great stage show, but as a live-action movie? I can't see how it'd be successful.
Impact
Yeah was thinking of that. It's like why has Cats never been a movie?I could do Beauty and the Beast.
Blankments
That'd be fine, although how would you pull off the enchanted objects? CGI or costumes?
Impact
Good question.I also would like to do a live action Aladin also.
Impact
Well I do remember Nuclear Impact was a great film I made I believe in year 40 (?-not sure if that is the correct film). It was a intense film about a worldwide nuclear war.
