SchumacherFTW
Yeah but you have to have the red for 1 year first. I had a good 3 years before the premium card was introduced (got mine just after Avatar). They've really upped the quality of service for members in the last few years. DeeCee
IMAX Sydney is up to AUD33.50 plus $1.75 booking fee. I get tickets through Telstra for Event Cinemas. $11 for standard 2D or $15 for VMAX plus there's no booking fee. Although you only get half the points towards a free movie. Travod
In the city, $14.50. In the good theater here, $14. In the bad one, $6.25 for matinee and $8.75 for night showing. In DC, I think $12-13.

Here's how those compare with AOU right now: ***NOTE that average inflation is not the same as true yearly inflation as compounding is not accounted for. Also, the actual 3D/2D/IMAX breakdown will better indicate the inflation that can be observed for AOU vs. TA, this is simply inflation of observed ticket prices. I'm going to be doing the same tracking for the Star Wars Sequels over the next 6 years. spizzer
Note that we can already observe a price increase from Avengers: Age of Ultron. Across the exact same theaters, showtimes, and equivalent days, a 2.1% price increase is observable.
spizzer
Inflation across respective theaters between Star Wars 7 and Batman vs. Superman over three months. 1.3% average increase across same theater/time-frame.
Infernus
Around a 120 Rs for a regular weekday show in a regular single screen. Thats less than 2 dollars! And there are much cheaper options available too. You can watch a movie for 30Rs in some of the older cinemas. That would be less than half a dollar Edited April 1, 2016 by Infernus
filmlover
$11.25 for evening shows, drop $3 for matinees. We usually do mostly matinees now because that saves us more money.
WrathOfHan
$9 for matinees, $10.25 for regular. Tickets always go up when summer starts so I'm expecting a dollar increase minimum.
