Demon Slayer: To The Swordsmith Village

9th WKend - ¥43,265,840 / 34,431 admits

Total Until SUN (04/04) - ¥4,065,426,424 / 2,883,585 admits

4bn for a recap is insane, can't wait to see what kind of numbers it pulls on TV this weekend

That's true, but at the same time for a Demon Slayer recap + a new episode 4B is the minimum I can expect (1/10 of Mugen Train), if only they had removed the end credits and the recaps between the 3 episodes and pushed a little more on marketing it would certainly have grossed even more

Today, DS's Screenings ended with ¥4.1B. Doraemon should be comfortably crossing it. I think Suzume will hit around ¥14.6B (or may be ¥15B if it can hang around GW). SLAM DUNK still thinking at ¥14B. TGM please be atleast ¥13.71B+ on year end update!

So "Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village" is going to end with like 30M dollars in Japan (more or less) and 25M overseas? Sure most of it it's only a recap and everything but grossing just 1/10 of Mugen Train is still pretty underwhelming...

I forgot to inform you all that Paramount's "Top Gun: Maverick" is the Highest Grossing Imported Film since Disney's "Frozen" (¥25.50B) back in 2014-15. All-Time 6th Highest Grossing Imported Film on par with "The Last Samurai" (¥13.70B)

Damn for once I decided to believe BoxOfficeMojo, TheNumbers and Wikipedia since they all agreed on its overseas gross, but it seems they all forgot about Taiwan, Germany and some other markets

But are you sure about North America? Didn't it end with 10.1M there?
