Found it. BOM has 89m for Japan on its foreign page, 713.1 total, but 90.6m on the japan page. 4.9m is being reported for mon-thur. Maybe 100k from other markets. 4.8m vs 4.5m toho estimate. Im low again. You guys are making me conservative

I prefer the Japanese movie version of let it go but that's a great promotional effort nonetheless It would be totally awesome if sing-along caught along in Japan

Conan should have a pretty stable and well delineated fanbase I guess. It's just a matter of screens and seats then, not of 'movie choice'. The % of potential Frozen moviegoers that are going to pick Conan over Frozen is most likely below 5%.

 

I don't know...can Frozen get some of its biggest screens back on Sunday? In other words, if Saturday turns out to be a tad deflated, can Sunday see a high jump?

Well, I think Conan might perform very well on Saturday but go down a bit on Sunday , because most fans

will go to the movies on the OD. Take the wind rises for example, its first Saturday was around 600m Yen but

two day gross was 9.8 m...which means Sunday was only 60% of Saturday.

However, for Frozen, its Sunday always outperform its Saturday....

 

BTW, I don't think Frozen can get some big screens back but what's more important is its average attendance...

This article is very interesting,too. It talks about the possibility for a Sequel for frozen. Do you think frozen can have a solid franchise, please let me know your thoughts and what would you like to see in the sequel.   By the way, can somebody tell me why Disney hasnt announced frozen 2, are they really not making it or maybe they are waiting for an awesome script and see if a sequel is possible.
