if it was due to noms drop today will be more in line like monday rather than yesterday. Or it could be just stabilizing. It would be surprising if movie keeps dropping 25-30%.

Yeah I think this small drop on Tuesday could also mean it's stabilizing. GG might have effects too, but not that big, especially compared to the Oscars. We'll see on Wednesday.

Let's see if it can manage 15% weekend drop for $8mn weekend and $67.5-68mn by Sunday.

Yes. For a musical film like Frozen 2, it would probably be almost as good as winning the Best Animated Feature.

even today the drop is quite soft around 15%. Its just stabilizing as most movies do. After all its dominating the market place as well. Still could make a play for 150m.

Its not an inde film. Awards are of no/little value at level it is playing.

 

besides, I don't think it deserves award as well. TS4 FTW. Even TLK better if animation is given preference too. TLK was awesome.
