Is Sword Art really still that much of a thing? I checked out after Ordinal Scale and the spin off in the gun game

Reki works are popular in light novels. Original Manga Print sold 26M but his work already exists on his blog. Owning to privacy, Original Manga got separated after his assistant continued with his spin-off "SAO Alternative Gun Gale Online" a direct spin off to Reki Season 2 of SAO "Gun Gale Online". After that series continue with Alicization and finally Unital Ring but Reki suddenly stopped Unital Ring (last release was Dec 2020). Continuing re-creating "Aincrad" as "Progressive" contain more details about each floor. In fact, each book represent "1 floor" some volume were divided to two parts owning to Reki's overwriting. Progressive Novels were 17x more popular than Original Print "Aincrad" owning to over-populariting, Analysts says ¥3B is not the goal, and the work is expected to rank within the TOP 10

This is not the first time that Marvel collabs with local works but they did that with Detective Conan and My Hero Academia too. However, unlike MHA, Marvel's Avengers Endgame who topped the second weekend in multiple markets, losed to Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire.

SAO leading, already 66K+ tickets sold.

Estimated WK : ¥500M+

007 NTTD & Dune losing hold for the Weekend

¥500M+ = $5M?

what does collab even mean? just making a video don't really help I guess.

Collaboration for promotional posters as visitors privilege. In either way, Marvel tries to prove that both films has a common plot, just to reduce drop as they can not stable their legs here. Luckily, so far we don't have any ¥1B films from Marvel this year.
