9:30pm showing of Battleship sold out at my AMC, had to buy a ticket to Dark Shadows to get in. Battleship cannot catch a break. :PBtw, 9:50 showing of Avengers sold out or else I would have bought a ticket for that show.

Good for Battleship. It needs it. The Dictator had a lot of sell outs today. Hopefully Saturday makes up for a dismal Friday.And for the Avengers, what can I say? The rich keep getting richer, lol.

TF3 sold less tickets than TF2 and even TF1.What makes anyone think TF4 would reverse that trend.There's a reason they're going for a reboot. The franchise was on the decline.

Well TF2 was a beast at the box office.It still sold (for only a few more days) more tickets then TA so far, more then THG, DH2 and TS3.

TF1 was such a huge hit.It did well at the box office and everyone bought the DVD.It has some of the best DVD sales for a non animation film and its still always on TV...

Not even close. It probably would have gotten an OW in the 125-130m range, far from any OW record. Now, TF2 on the other hand would have had a legit shot at the OW record with a Friday release.

lol I find the action in TF1 to be more fun.Like I watch it on TV its not as epic as Tf2 of TF3 but its more enjoyable.TF1 really was big because we never saw big robots and that kind of CGI before....Also TF2 would have likley opened to around 155 million with ease.

All I can think of when people talk about TF is Megan Fox. That's the testament of how good that movie is in my eyes.
