Film scoring is a complete sausage fest so I was thrilled when they announced a woman as the composer for CM. Fingers crossed this means women will get to do more high profile gigs in the future. 👍

The "sausage fest" made me laugh 😛

It was a load of nothing. It wasn't good. It wasn't bad. It wasn't funny. It wasn't fun. It wasn't interesting. It wasn't boring. It wasn't memorable.

It wasn't much of anything. It was just kind of a movie I saw. Or was it?

Are you breaking into the fourth wall now, and being amnestic?

Have you missed the much more important (and most probably related) point that nearly everyone complained in some way about the music in CM??

That was more the choices of songs not the actual score which I contend is one of the better MCU scores we've had.

Agree

I think I read also the occasionly complained about ~ music - scene timing (I thing start point of the music?) at one or 2 scenes being ~ strange

A few titles of the score itself I find rather memorable.

From what I read in this forum and Reddit, majority are those "quite like" (3.5/5) and "okayish" (3/5) with this movie. Some like or love it, some don't quite like it.

Overall it probably averages out to be in 10th to 14th position of 21 MCU movies.

Imagine in a decade that being the 20th best ranked film out of 40 MCUs will be a thing and no one will think any twice about it.

Ben Mendelsohn was really fun. Other than that, it's tedious and occasionally unsightly to look at.

Probably. Us, Dumbo and Shazam back to back to back could hurt those chances though.

That could still be a great number for it. And it’s with an MCU-heroine who didn’t appear in the previous films.

partly school was out, CAN had holidays,... might be less big weekend and so on later.

But maybe more schools out soon (other regions might come, not sure, maybe I confuse that with Endgame)

Supposedly this is from Instagram, but I can’t find it there directly. Very emotional thank you, though it cuts off pretty abruptly. Reading between the lines a bit (might just be seeing things that aren’t there) seems like the haters might have been getting to her a bit but the OW put that to rest.
