.i think they are genuine...they are from long time contributors

as me and others already pointed out:

only press, invited big bloggers, the Air-Force in the US, the female police in the UK, .... has seen the movie yet.

Why do you belief some no-one has seen it too?

Like some members (some of them ex-members) here show, only bcs someone is a long time contributor, ... whatever, means not everyone is trustworthy. Or political neutral or......

Plus we do know certain ppl are planing to review bomb. Do you really believe that excludes long time contributors?

People are complaining in reviews that Captain Marvel starts the movie stoic and ends the same. I think critics judge it harshly, comparing it to WW who had charisma in spades. But this is a different character. Maybe CM is meant to be this way, not Brie's fault.

Jeremy Jahns, Screenjunkies and Grace Randolph were the first to pop on my feed and they're lukewarm about it.
I'm aware some people around here have a strange hate for Grace, but this is the sort of thing she usually loves... 😐

She gave it a fresh on RT.

I don’t think a stoic protagonist is necessarily a bad thing, but Brie Larson doesn’t strike me as the kind of actress who can pull that off particularly well. Still, I’ll have to see the movie for myself to find out.

Consensus:

Packed with action, humor, and visual thrills, Captain Marvel introduces the MCU's latest hero with an origin story that makes effective use of the franchise's signature formula.

I've yet to see anyone explain what this fucking formula is. They really should as the rest of Hollywood is dying at the box office and could use the help.

Making fun likable movies that still manage to have important themes and well fleshed out characters is a formula I guess.

Thanks (out of likes).

Maybe it can get into top 5?

Yeah, I was looking at it yesterday and wondering if top 5 could happen. I think it’s within the possible range but would be a definite overperformance.
