The BatB BO is one of the reasons why I'm so confident that TLK will gross $1.5B+. Lol.

Would it be the first female led movie to cross $1 bi?

Star Wars is an ensemble however Daisy Ridley and Felicity Jones had a plurality of screen time (%) if not story in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

All movies are female led movies. Mother Earth is female and guess where all these movies are filmed?

🤔

Beat me to it. :circles:

Also, SW had a female lead but that $2b+ was largely built on 30 plus years waiting for the return of Han, Luke & Leia.   There's a reason Ford got like $25m to come back while the lead made about 100k.

So are RT still rolling the "want to see" scores into the audience scores?

That's so incompetent. The whole PR about not letting people troll vote before a movie releases was useless then haha.

They never really addressed the core issue with their algorithm.

Yep, they rolled in at least 25k spam ratings  (at I think 31%) and now 33k more ratings just from people seeing it over the last couple of days for a current 58k

Uh huh

Meanwhile AIW has 52k ratings

Why would you look at that, suddenly over 50k ratings just disappeared.

I don't understand why RT keeps on messing with the Audience Score

They didn't do that with the Ghostbusters reboot or with any other movie, and does it mean they will start "fixing"

every Audience score from now on?

This will only further feed the RT consipracy theory.

It's probably because they're starting to realize that people actually are tampering with the score.

Is it really a conspiracy theory if it's happening plain sight?

How much does this have to open WW to lock a billie, assuming worst-case scenario for legs?

Thing is there's nothing new about it, people were tampering the scores there for years

Why only CM triggered them to take an action?

Because eventually you need to take action regarding a situation that is getting out of hand. This isn't something that ALWAYS happens but it has happened enough times now that it's finally something that they're trying to fix.

Because social media covered it more with Captain Marvel than  any previous film. It was all over the damn net compared to Last Jedi's review bombing and Black Panther's review bombing.

Bingo! It's not normally the first offense or the "true trigger" that serves as the impetus of a change.  A pattern needs to establish first.

RT and its many sister websites live off advertising. If Disney said "fix this or we stop giving you $millions in advertising" you can understand why action was taken (and so sloppily). RT can shrug off smaller fish but probably not Disney.

I long ago decided to ignore user ratings on the Internet. They are useless, way too easy for people to tamper with.

Anybody who takes them seriously is pretty ignorant, IMHO.

I 100% agree, but think that all internet "User Ratings" are pretty useless.. Way to easy for a small group of fans to manipulate one way or the other.
