Looks very fun. Should be a hit. Remember seeing the first trailer in theaters and it got a great reaction.

Idk. I don’t think it’ll bomb. It’s in the release slot that made the Ride Along successful. Hardly any competition besides holdovers and taking advantage of the four day weekend.

I agree with you here.  And is it just me or are the trailers completely underwhelming?  I just think this is destined to disappoint in a big way.

This will be opening in a very healthy 3,700 theatres next weekend. If it wasn't already obvious this would out-open Dolittle, the theatre count definitely puts a stamp on it. It'll be within a few hundred theatres at most of the latter's count.

 

Sony is preparing for a strong opening, methinks.

IT'S FINALLY HERE.  BAD BOYS WEEK LET'S GO.   "Bad Boys II" came out 17 years ago and had a 46 Million OW (16,16,13).  "Dolittle" and "1917" in it's 2nd Wide Frame will be the competition.   I like it's chances over the Holiday Weekend to win it outright.   Will and Martin have been on a Global Tour opening the film overseas as well.   They have been getting a positive response from fans and audiences.  I remember when "Bad Boys II" came out, Some analyst underestimated OW saying nobody cared for the sequel, they were wrong.   I think this will surprise this weekend.
