The film is set to begin production in January 2019 and will be released in October 2019, in time for the 10th anniversary of the original movie.

ah yes, a day the original film's millions of fans surely already have marked in their calendars. smart date.

There's little point to predicting the box office here until we get the first trailer and see whether everyone involved is genuinely invested in this or not. It's impressive that they managed to get all four back, and if this looks like a fun and spirited reunion it can be big. But if it gives off an even remotely tired vibe it can easily deflate.
