I'm fine with that.. As long as it's dethroned TDK, I'm content with that and for that matter, I still say TDKR won't even come close...

Did baumer even mention TDK or TDKR?

So:TA's week:Tues: 2.3Wed: 1.8Thurs: 1.9Fri: 3.8Sat: 5.9Sun: 3.913.6 mill weekend, another 8 for the week, total from M-Sun is 21.6 and a 574.65 total.

Fri/Sat jumps are too high. Prometheus/Madagascar will be its first real dose of competition. 3.4m Fri (+79.5) 5m Sat (+47) 3.3m Sun (-34) 11.7m weekend

His Thursday number is too low. I expect around a 10% jump on Thursday or around 2M heading into the weekend. Using Your increases/decreases we get 12.6M weekend.3.6M5.4M3.6M12.6M

The other thing is, this is the week when family oriented fare start improving from Mon-Thu as kids slowly get out of school. Thu should be larger than Mon.So using your pattern:2.1m Thu3.8m Fri (+79.5)5.55m Sat (+47)3.65m Sun (-34)13m weekend :D

I agree with you plus wednesday drop won't be as steep.

AA, It would awesome for TA to have sub 40% drop with 2 mega openers.

Prometheus is adult, Madagascar is kids. TA is everything in between.TA is in its own world. It's running its own race. At this point, I don't think competition matters as much as TC drops. If it doesn't lose a bunch of theaters then it will continue to maintain its momentum...At least until Spider-Man kills it. :P

I don't think a 55% jump on Saturday is too high. Crystal Skull consistently jumped up in teh 50's in the summer on Saturday. Maybe the Friday is too high.
