Man, I'm extremely disappointed; I was really looking forward to seeing this. And I'm not sure opening a week before Star Wars will do it any good... I hope it does better than Exodus.

Or maybe they have confidence in the movie being an awards player? The movie already has an MPAA rating so it's already finished. Plus, it would've tanked in March anyway.
