Deep Wang
I think Pixar is immune to one bad film. They are a trusted brand. They're your favorite brand after all!
baumer
They're your favorite brand after all!I love them so much it hurts. Funny thing is I've seen 10 of the 13 films. lol
Biggestgeekever
If it opens as well as Up did (69m) then that's a big win for the studio. Cars 2's poor response doesn't seem to hurt interest in original Pixar fare.It does kind of speak to how terrible Cars 2's run was though.
Gopher
Yep. Word of mouth sunk in fast. Midnights were like half a million and it still dropped 2.5 million from Friday to Saturday. One of the injustices from Pixar is how that movie was almost two hours and Brave was 100 minutes. One film needed the extra time and the other so did not need extra time. druv10
Even better!Movie is very well made. Had it come out last year instead of this year, RT score would have been in the 80's maybe even push for the low 90's rather than flirting with the 60's. kayumanggi
Could BRAVE be number one again next weekend? No Pixar original has been number one on its second weekend since CARS. UP almost did it though.
AniNate
No doubt, imo, unless Ted just completely explodes.

Biggestgeekever
What number do you see for BRAVE's second weekend?Unless it's surprisingly frontloaded, I think at least $40m will happen. The two big openers next week are R-rated, and that's conducive for a great hold.
