Out of the characters that died I see these people returning for the sequel.

Spoiler

Bi Han as Noob Saibot is a no brainer.

Kung Lao to fuck with Liu Kang but he'll ultimately be saved like in the games.

Mileena. Way too popular of a character with so much history with Kitana to not be a character returning.

I wonder when we will actually get a really good video game movie and not just watchable to decent popcorn flicks like Pikachu, Sonic, Rampage etc.

It’s not a film, but I’ve got high hopes for HBO’s The Last of Us adaptation.

It was so-so. Some of the acting was dire and some of the fights were disappointing. High points were the opening sequence and the character of Kano, who was the one person who fully understood he was in a Mortal Kombat movie (Kabral was the only other character who came close to embracing the right tone consistently)

Movie overall was mediocre but still glad I went to the cinema just to hear how everyone was enjoying themselves over anything Kano said or did.

Really expected more hardcore violent action honestly but I'll be the first to admit I know nothing about Mortal Kombat so I'd be down for more sequels with the origin stories out of the way.

Well well well...impressive. Is a sequel on the way? Hopefully, a much better action choreograped movie

Should get one or an hbomax series, this movie only cost like 55m I think.
