When this movie announced, I really really look forward for it's performance here and China for obvious reasons. When inception on 2010 already got $42m and Interstellar with $72m . Even Dunkirk got $22m here.

The way this movie probably only will make $15m max really hurt so much. I know Covid and typhoon impact it but still...

between.. we're on social distancing stage "2.5" from 8/30 to 9/06 for seoul.

strongest regulation ever.

no dining at restaurants and bakeries after 9 PM, only deliveries are allowed from 9 PM  to  5 AM.

no inside drinking in franchised Cafes (Starbucks etc). only to-go and delivery.

Gyms are all closed.

no new regulation for theater and they're widely open tho.

Just watched Peninsula and it blowed me away. I have no idea why it had a lower recepction than the first one considering it took everything that did right on the first one and improved even more.

It still has an emotional push, but the action scenes were just insane, this director can do more with a $30m budget than most of Hollywood directors with a $200m budget, he truly did a SK version of Mad Max, and it worked.
