diskojustice
None of them would be a factor I guess. Peanuts, Pokemon, Little Prince, Hotel Transylvania will fight for children's market. Not enough to shake whole industry. Their pre-sale percentage is not huge eighter. (TFA currently has 36.7% of pre-sale percentage, while Hotel Transylvania is 8.6% for 3rd position) TFA and Himalays likely to lead two-top position for next christmas week. And in New Year's eve "The Magician" will join the race, but it is not a guaranteed hit.

chasmmi
http://movie.naver.com/movie/running/premovie.nhn - A good reference for films coming out in Korea. judging purely on the number of thumbs ups, these are the most anticipated (Hollywood) films of the coming year or so: (most films have up to about 2-300 or so thumbs up for reference) 1. Civil war 10690 2. batman Vs Superman 8074 3. Warcraft - 6095 4. Kung Fu Panda 4968 5. Suicide Squad 4404 6. Deadpool 4373 7. Hotel Transylavania 2 3940 8. Xmen Apocalypse - 3273 9. Peanuts 2750 10. Resident Evil: The final Chapter 2263 11. Revenant 1909 12. Danish Girl 1358 Surprisingly high for Deadpool and low for XMen. Hateful 8 and Fantastic beasts are both below Last Witchhunter (713)

From kobis (korean official boxoffice site), and CGV/megabox/lottecinema (korea's top 3 biggest theater chain)'s pre-sales chart Hotel Transylvania is all top from the toons, Little Prrince is the second with Peanuts and Pokemon far behind. But animations are not heavily depend on pre-sales so we should see.

Not so bad for its theater, showtime counts. But it is released one day before its competitors (Hotel Transylvania, Peanuts. Only Pokemon released Wednesday also.) So whether it holds during weekend is remain to be seen. Edited December 24, 2015 by diskojustice
