That’s all accounted for. Whether it beats FFH is the “choose your own adventure” ;)

how long this movie will run in SK and other countries in general? ~ 2.5 months before the digital release?

Some people wanted 3,5M or even 4M admits OW, me I just wanted 3M and It won't happen. I'm sad. Let's hope for at least 6M admissions.

Very rare for a 2.6m-2.7m opener to end its run with only 6m with this level of hype or WoM. 7m is still on menu and 8m is certainly in play. The only pity here is this year both CD and NY fall on weekend which korean will not get replacement leave for both public holiday.

Min 45 days depending heavily on legs. DS run from late Jan - mid August with 11x+ legs

Wonder if it can have better hold in weekdays. That's only place where I felt it can do better.

Though one issue is that factor making Sunday better than Sat will be making weekdays worse i.e. lack of night shows unless we have holidays in Korea

Sun is looking great to me, but Mon is the big mystery. If weekdays are hurt by curfew could show up in stronger wknd holds

1. I missed one things. 10 pm limit is for whole country unlike previous capital area only. This is why cgv numbers are done after 19:20 update.

2. Saturday was coldest day with massive snows. it was really bad. even all the delivery had to stop. so this clearly affected numbers, showing on Sunday increase for lots of films.

3. with 2.77M, it became biggest opening week during Pandemic.

previous record was 2M by local film back in 2020 August, when daily covid numbers were only +30.

(currently S.Korea's daily number is at avg 6,800)

4. NWH is already #4 biggest film of 2021, and will be #3 Tomorrow, #2 on Tuesday, #1 on Friday. so yeah.. it's still massive number for pandemic. + it will be #1 biggest film during pandemic after next weekend.

5. Also Monday CGV presale (45k) is X1.5 of FFH (30k). it will be interesting.

Yeah, those curfews are just brutal on weekdays. It looks like a fine day of 215k or so but could have been a lot higher. I like the look of the KOBIS growth today, I think we’re in for a robust tues-Th and then 2nd weekend, might take an updated crack at total by then but for now just taking it day by day.

What do you think about the legs potential for this movie there? Weekdays look ok?

Like I said, not planning to take too much look at final until next weekend. Jat provided a skeleton on the last page, you could just adjust it for actuals so far it you like — I think it’d point to ~8.5 right now but with pretty wide margins either way.

Hmm, so if it follows EG legs we're looking at $55M. Basically the same as FFH. Hopefully it has a longer legs since it's the holidays (not sure if it's as helpful in SK as it is domestically) and can get into the $60-70M range.
