12.12: The Day

426,854 / 10,734,984 (-2.9% YD)

Playing at 1,480 SC with 4,652 Shows, on Monday, at 16.45 KST, Distributor informed that the film has exceeded "The Roundup: No Way Out" (10.68M admits) for the Biggest Title of the Year. Just another big milestone after crossing 10M admits on Sunday!

&Here comes the question that how long "The Roundup" (12.69M) is safe for Post-Pandemic No.1 Release?!

update:

I overestimated The Day, now the hope is to beat The Thieves (12.984m) to climb to #6 for domestic films and #9 overall.

For Wish 1.5m admits seems a better milestone now.

Migration we'll have to wait for next weekend both to see it theaters give it a chance and if the 98% golden egg can propel it

So this is refering to the Chinese film that was about this same battle? I was a bit confused but now I understand that there was a Chinese film about this event, and now there will be a South Korean movie about this.
