technically it has. There was one cinema chain which was free of that dispute. but it would only take up to like less than a third or fourth of screens in Seoul I assume.

Remember the problem in Seoul. A 20% of the SK population live there (I do not count metropolitan area) and they had a very limited access to the movie. I guess some people have gone to other cities to see the movie, but most don't.

My guess for Hobbit total would be around 18M-20M. Probably a bit more but I don't know what multiplier to expect in SK during winter season.This weekend BO in SK is kinda boring with so-so numbers across the board except for About Time which is doing amazing. Hopefully it'll be more lively next week with arrival of The Attorney.
