I think Conan is absorbing a lot of demand isnt it? Although a poster before said that it didnt stay long. I wouldnt be so sure, it has been kind of a hit almost everywhere in Asia where it has been played. Not in the levles of The First Slam Dunk but quite good nonetheless. Why? It's current Thur is running ahead of last Thur by at least 30%. Conan is affecting it from being bigger today but it started out as 28% of Conan and is now at 50% and will probably be around 60% by the end of the day. It's had bigger walk-ups - 30k v 22k. Issac Newton Posted July 20, 2023 Share Posted July 20, 2023 Korea isn't a traditional strong market for Conan (Outside China &Vietnam, Conan doesn't have pull in any country) - but it's building it's market with impressive OW improvement over each sequel. When, Final Conan Film releases it's obviously will be doing more numbers then what we expect today. So, far I am impressed with Conan 2023 Numbers in Korea. Not necessary to compare it with Elemental but also not necessary to called it "fan-heavily frontloaded film" because it's able to improve it's former films number - this should be a straight cut for atleast 1M admits I guess. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Flash + Indy flopping, MI7 being good but not as big as past entries, Conan, Barbie and Insidious all looking frontloaded and now Smugglers getting mixed reviews just as the school holidays are about to kick in.
