Some people in CAYOM A got upset when I didn't go by the reviews for the box office.

I don't see why you would. I mean Transformers, and Twilight have hit 300M. I suppose legs kinda are based on the reviews though.

July 4-7:

The Walker Chronicles

"Enjoyable sci-fI"

This was very enjoyable. The cast was good for the most part, though was not a fan of Cavil (Rather see Taylor Kirch or Shia LaBouf in this role, but that is me). Mark Strong is always great to see. The visuals were good and the story was pretty fun.

4 stars.

Go see: If you are still starving for another sci-fi.

Don't see: If your tired of them.

July 12-14:

Chaperones

"Better then I was expecting"

This was much better then I was expecting. Carrel was quite funny in this. You can see how messed up some teens really are in this film. Fey was great as well. The plot was just thought at well.

3.5 stars.

Go see: If you want a funny comedy to watch.

Don't see: If your as messed up as some of these kids. ;)

The Dead in the House

"Great drama"

This was a great drama. Not for everyone that is for sure. Firth does an amazing job in this though. I hope to see him get nominated for this.

4.5 stars.

Go see: If your intrested in some fantastic acting.

Don't see: If you rather see some bland acting.

July 19-21:

8AM

"A decent sci-fi"

Not the best of the year, but not the worse. I enjoyed Smith in this. The visuals were good. The story was just meh though. Overall enjoyable.

3.5 stars.

Go see: If you want to see a sci-fi with a great cast.

Don't see: If you want a better plot.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

"Bleh really"

This was pretty bleh. It probably is better then the other version though. Still nothing special.

1.5 stars.

Go see: If you have forgiven the other.

Don't see: If you have not.

July 26-28:

A Wrinkle in Time

"Pretty good acting"

This film had some pretty good acting. Fanning showed that she can do a good job in this. The 2 boys were good also. The cinematagophy was amazing also. Overall a decent family film.

4 stars.

Go see: If your intrested in the classic story.

Don't see: If you want to go watch a newer story.

Broken Earth

"Great visuals, crappy film"

This film had some fantastic visuals. But the film itself was crappy. Baldwin did a terrible job in this. The movie felt very depressing for a film that seemed like it wanted to be a fun sci fi. It also felt like the film would never end.

.5 stars.

Go see: If you want visuals galore, no plot and Alec Baldwin for over 2 hours.

Don't see: If you have a soul. ()

August 2-4:

Fable

"Wow a good movie based off of a video game!"

This is a surprise. A good movie based off of a game. The only other one that did this was Prince of Persia. While Fable is not the most known or the best game-this movie does a good job at doing the game. The acting is decent and the sets are great. Overall enjoyable.

3.5 stars.

Go see: If you want to see a good video game film for once.

Don't see: If that turns you off.
