Neo, Neo... usually every director needs 6-9 months of pre-production on these big movies + Fassbender is f***ing busy. So they definitely won't start filming before December / January.

What? Was this from when I said April? How do yo know the pre-production isn't done? Only has one currently that will go with AC and that is Oceans a smaller film. I always look at FC to see when is the latest they can start by late October.

Surprise of the century.When is the last time a major film has been delayed from a scheduled release date less than a year away, because principal photography hadn't even started yet?

The HR article mentioned that Fox insiders expect AC to come out in 2016.

That's a shame. I think this has so much potential as a movie. The mixing of modern and past times, a respected actor in fassbender, the free running / combat aspect could look great with the right choreography and with a good script mixing fiction with fact (kind of like da vinci code).
