Michael Seng Wah
Very likely, yes. But until it opens in China, I will refrain from calling it a lock.I hope that it somehow reaches 305/820m and finishes #5 all-time WW. That will be some accomplishment.Seems hard to take down Transformers 3.

Fake
while I am glad Skyfall is doing great I kind of hope it doesn't outgross TDKR because I like having Avengers and TDKR right next to each other for the yearly chart. Oh welllSorry mate.... bit right now Skyfall is almost locked to take TDKR down.

htall90
Skyfall had easily the best marketing campaign of the year and 2012 was the best year ever to release a bond film.

A Marvel Fanboy
What sure is they both sold more than 100M tickets WW.
Fake
Significantly more. In some markets like India, ticket prices are very low. Skyfall only did 11m from India, but admissions would be 4m+.

Burgess
He allready had that with QosGoldfinger was Sean Connery's third Bond film, whereas QOS is Daniel Craig's second. Goldfinger cemented Sean Connery as James Bond for a generation (or more) and Skyfall is doing the same for Daniel Craig. The record breaking success of Goldfinger catapulted Thunderball to greater box office heights and, hopefully, Skyfall does the same for Bond 24. Skyfall is a huge suceess and will probably outgross Thunderball's adjusted for inflation WW box office gross, but there is still room for Bond 24 to expand in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and North America.
