sub 200it does not look appealing, they exploit Flintstones, AVATAR and Ice Agethis blend of pre-historic cave-dvellers and fantasy world, inspired by earth will not work IMHO

I just can't see it going lower than "Rise of the Guardians". Should do much better in Asia and it's the first animation of the year.

It looks much more appealing than "Megamind" with its Avatar-like look.

Do you like this colourful fantasy world, that reminds me of BEATLES-movies from the 60s, or do you think apropriate audiences will love it?

I'm not sure if I really like it myself, considering it's a pure fantasy world when you should expect a real stone age world, but it looks inviting and warm and yeah, i think people, and most of all kids, will like that world.

The Croods had a terrible OW in Russia with $3.6m, inspite of a high TheaterCount of 1580. Compare

Rise of the Guardians $6m

Madagascar 3 $16m

Puss in Boots $15m

MegaMind $7m

This won't do that great overseas I think because there are no talking animals

computer animation without talking animals, that did great internationally:

TinTin  79% OS

Tangled 66% OS

but you are right talking animals work universally
